It is difficult to pick just ten from all the great movies that have ever been made, but here is my current top ten list.
1. The Shawshank Redemption (1994) – Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman.
2. Les Misérables (1998) – Liam Neeson, Geoffrey Rush & Uma Thurman.
3. Braveheart (1995) – Mel Gibson
4. As Good as It Gets (1997) – Jack Nicholson, Helen Hunt, Greg Kinnear & Cuba Gooding Jr.
5. O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) – George Clooney, John Turturro & Tim Blake Nelson.
6. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975) – Jack Nicholson
7. Return To Me (2000) – David Duchovny, Minnie Driver, & Carroll O’Connor
8. Chocolat (2000) – Juliette Binoche & Johhny Depp
9. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (1967) – Clint Eastwood & Lee Van Cleef
10. Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring , The Two Towers & The Return of the King (2001-2003) – Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, Cate Blanchett & others
That was difficult as I feel I excluded so many good movies. Maybe I’ll have to organize them into categories next time (i.e. drama, comedy, action, thrillers, etc.).
